Traditional paper print

Ron Lake paper  prints are printed on the highest quality archival paper from Hahnemuhle. My preference is "German Etchings" one  of the Hahnemuhle top picks . This paper is a matte finished totally archival surface that brings out the best detail and color accuracy. I have printed on this paper for over 30 years.Prints are NOT mounted but do have a 1 1/2 inch white paper border around the image for easy framing or matting options. Prints of this quality are rated for a 70 year light fade test.

These prints when shipped come rolled with Renaissance paper. I Recommend not opening at home, and taking them straight to the framer, as the image can be creased , or dented  when being un rolled and handled, and difficult to place back in the tube to transport

Matte Varnished paper prints

Matte Varnished paper has recently become my favorite presentation material. This process uses the same high quality paper I use with my "Traditional prints" described above, but also includes a mounting to a 1/4 inch dibond substrate, followed by (3) coatings of Moab paper 's  " Desert Varnish "

The application , completes the  presentation  of a paper print, sealed with a Matte surface that is totally archival and Mounted to board.  I am  presenting these  prints in elegant "Floater frames"

Metal

 Metal prints are created with high quality Chromaluxe panels made from a polyester coated  substrate that is backed with a 1/8 inch dibond aluminum sheet. The image is transferred  onto the surface using  a dye sublimation process.

The detail, color depth, and intensity of the images make them an attention getter for sure.Metal images are scratch resistant and water proof so awesome for the bathroom , kitchen , and even outdoor spaces. While typically glossy , new Satin and even Matte surfaces now exist.

Metal prints are super light weight at only  1/8 of an inch thick, and come with  with  a mounting hanger bar attached to the back side , to make hanging right on the wall easy and fast.

Acrylic/ glass

Acrylic is like Metal with a Glossy  surface , and also quite vibrant . The "Gloss surfaced" paper is  front adhered to a  TRUELIFE  acrylic glass, and backed with a 1/4 inch dibond substrate for strength and rigidity .

The Acrylic  surface is a heavier option than metal and appears quite substantial and  they are VERY durable. The image appearance is very Bold , with excellent clarity and vibrance.        

 Recently Acrylic/Plexiglass has also initiated satin and matte front layer surfacing .

Canvas

Images can also be printed on high quality canvas, that is stretched around a durable wood frame, and finished with a beautiful floater frame. The standard frame is Black with a matte finish. White and Silver are also available and the frame is included with purchase. This option is by far the most reasonable  as the frame is included as well as the shipping .
